As Vice President, Allan is fully involved in all stages of research projects, from helping to choose the right methodology, collaborating on questionnaires and other design elements, overseeing the data collection and processing, and conducting the analysis and presentation of the results.
In his ten years’ experience as a market researcher, Allan’s covered a range of methodological approaches and sectors (including consumer packaged goods, financial services, lotteries, and telecommunications), most recently specializing in advertising and brand equity research at Ipsos ASI, where he worked before joining Insights West. Allan’s favourite part about market research is working with clients and helping them take their advertising and brand to the next level.
A native of Vancouver with a BBA from Simon Fraser University, Allan is (of course!) a big Canucks fan, and also likes to play hockey himself. Plus he keeps fit with volleyball, running, curling and skiing. As if that doesn’t take up enough energy, he also loves to travel – his favourite trips so far have been to Argentina, Peru and South Africa.
