A graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Business Administration program, Laura coordinates many of Insights West’s communications and interactions with clients and research participants. The critical function of driving engagement is painstakingly fostered through regular communications and individualized responses, as well as through thorough editing and testing of surveys, timely processing of incentives, and any other interaction that signals to respondents how much we value their participation. Laura’s thoughtful work helps convey this sense of belonging. In addition, Laura helps with other communications and administrative efforts including the monthly Newsletter, raising awareness in the Western business community of new research initiatives, business partnerships and charitable activities Insights West is concerned with.
Since completing her BBA, with concentrations in Marketing and Management and Organization Studies, Laura has become a home-owner, thus giving rein to additional creative and organizational impulses. However she’s not a stay-at-home – Laura loves to travel– with frequent visits to Mexico and the Caribbean, where much of her extended family resides. She’s also keen on camping, ensuring that her dog leads a full and memorable life, playing softball, video games, and board games and, when she has the time, painting – not just walls, pictures too!
