As Facilities Manager, Maggie oversees the everyday operations of the Vancouver Insights Centre, Insights West’s facility for focus groups, interviews, and meeting space rentals. Her duties here include coordinating bookings, managing hosts, monitoring inventories and marketing and business development of the facility. In fact, Maggie is responsible for countless things around here but, most importantly, she makes clients and participants feel at home when they come to our facility and makes her coworkers feel special—ensuring that no birthday, anniversary, milestone, or personal victory passes without celebration.
Maggie comes from the travel industry and has over 25 years’ experience in that field, primarily in corporate travel management. She has been involved in training travel agents to use travel software and in managing trainers in Western Canada. In the last few years, she has also had experience being an Executive Assistant and with Facility Management.
In her spare time, Maggie enjoys cooking, entertaining, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves to experience new cultures, food and the arts. Her time spent in the travel industry has allowed and inspired her to see over 60% of the world, but she still has many places she’d like to check off of her bucket list!
